The Rolling Stones announce the
release of Totally Stripped, with Eagle Rock Entertainment. The package includes a live album, the Totally Stripped
documentary, and three live shows from 1995.

One of the most anticipated releases in recent years, this
collection features the Rolling Stones going back to the source of many of their favourite tracks, creating new stripped
back versions. Selected material from studio sessions and shows presented here formed the Stripped album of 1995.

Totally Stripped is available as a DVD or SD Blu-ray containing the newly-revised documentary of the same name,
or on DVD+CD or DVD+LP featuring the documentary and single CD / 2LPs compiled from live shows.  Additionally a DVD or
SD Blu-ray deluxe edition is available, packaged with a 60 page hard book set containing 5 discs which boasts hours of
previously unavailable music (three complete shows made available for the first time ever) from this truly legendary
act.

Totally Stripped itself is a brand new version of the documentary of the same name, which tells the
stories of the two studio sessions and three live shows (the Paradiso in Amsterdam in May 1995, L’Olympia in
Paris and Brixton Academy in London in July 1995) that make up this project. The Deluxe Edition contains a CD of
favourites drawn from across the live shows and three DVDs featuring, for the first time, ever each of those shows in
full.

Following the ‘Voodoo Lounge’ tour, the Stones released Stripped, an album of
reconsidered, pared back renderings of some classic Stones tracks, and also a couple of carefully chosen covers.  The
album mixed new studio versions of tracks with some live songs.  The tracks that made up Stripped were taken from two
studio sessions that took place in Tokyo [March 3-5, 1995] and in Lisbon [July 23-26], and a trio of live shows in July
1995 at small concert venues in London, Paris and Amsterdam. Keith Richards commented, “There’s something
about playing these small venues, the immediacy of it.  Also we can keep God out the band, because on big gigs he
sometimes turns up as rain or wind”.

As Mick Jagger said at the time, the aim was to “Take the
best element from [MTV] ‘Unplugged’, the intimate thing of it, without actually doing it completely
unplugged”.  This collection is built on the power of lyric and melody, and the material here feels somehow
simpler yet potent, as the songs stand on their individual timeless quality rather than on the production techniques and
technical expertise that generally come as part and parcel of being the biggest band in the world.

Totally Stripped is a newly-revised version of the
documentary that was originally made to coincide with the release of The Rolling Stones Stripped album released in
November 1995. It tells the story of the two studio sessions and three live shows that made up the Stripped project.
This followed the conclusion of the mammoth Voodoo Lounge tour and found The Stones reimagining tracks from their back
catalog pared back versions alongside a couple of carefully chosen covers in the studio and doing smaller scale club
gigs to showcase these versions, which was a marked contrast to the huge arenas and stadiums that had hosted the Voodoo
Lounge tour. This new version of the documentary includes previously unseen footage and lays bare the inner workings of
both The Rolling Stones and of some of their best loved tracks. Revealing, intimate and moving, Totally Stripped is

The european Deluxe
Edition contains the SD Blu-ray of Totally Stripped, a CD newly compiled from the live shows which has only one
performance in common with the previously released Stripped album, plus individual SD Blu-rays of the three full length
performances from Amsterdam, Paris and London.

The japanese Deluxe Edition contains the live documentary on
The Rolling Stones "Totally Stripped" features recording scenes at Toshiba EMI Studio in Japan and interviews
with members. Comes with a description written in Japanese by Masanori Terada. This edition
includes three DVD discs, featuring full-length live footage from their concerts in Amsterdam, Paris, and London, a DVD
disc with documentary on concerts, two CD discs, and a T-shirt (L-size).

If you want to burn the BD Audio Demux concerts to CD:
1. You'll have to downsample the 48KHz
FLACs to 44KHz with any audio editor like SoundForge or Audacity (free).
2. Do NOT use the cuesheet
files for that because of the 74-minute playing time of a CD (or 80-minute). All BD Audio Demux files are longer
than 80 minutes.
3. Decode FLACs to WAV and use the single tracks to burn to CD, NOT the cuesheet. 

The BD Audio Demux cuesheet files are just for playing on the computer, or decode the image FLAC file to single WAV
tracks.

Red Book technical specification for all CD formats: "The standard also specifies the form of
digital audio encoding: 2-channel signed 16-bit Linear PCM sampled at 44,100 Hz. Although rarely used, the specification
allows for discs to be mastered with a form of emphasis". 

"Playing times beyond 74 minutes are
achieved by decreasing track pitch beyond the original Red Book standard. Most players can accommodate the more closely
spaced data. Current manufacturing processes allow an audio CD to contain up to 80 minutes (variable from one
replication plant to another) without requiring the content creator to sign a waiver releasing the plant owner from
responsibility if the CD produced is marginally or entirely unreadable by some playback equipment. Thus, in current
practice, maximum CD playing time has crept higher by reducing minimum engineering tolerances; by and large, this has
